The Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 tenth year edition was a fashionable idea that grew out of an association between Lakme and IMG in 2000, which this year saw 50 designers and ten sponsors and Gitanjali Lifestyle as its associate sponsor.

Of the 50 designers, six were from the GenNext category, two in the Emerging, four are accessory designers and 38 are established biggies like Manish Malhotra, Narendra Kumar, Rocky S, Vikram Phadnis, Neeta Lulla and Wendell Rodricks.

The designers showcased their remarkable collections during the five-day event for buyers from India and countries like the US, France, Hong Kong, several in the Middle East and South Africa.
