Kamiar Rokni is a popular dress designer in Pakistan fashion industry. His nickname is Kami. Kamiar Rokni graduated from Pakistan School of Fashion Design in 2000 and launched Karma with Maheen Ali in 2001. He was the creative mind behind the label which quickly rose to prominence, becoming one of the most sought after brands in Pakistan. Kamiar introduced and popularized many trends in the local fashion industry, including the “star burst” and traditional kundan work. In 2006, Rokni parted ways with Karma and launched his own brand “Kamiar Rokni”.

Combining his design talents with that of his cousin and close friend Tia Noon, the duo launched the Kamiar Rokni design house in late 2007 and in the short span of one year, the company has grown to be recognised as among Pakistan’s premier fashion design houses. The luxury brand label is best known for its focus of wearable, chic and fun clothes that have an international flavour and where each design bears testimony to excellence in cut, workmanship and quality. They draw much inspiration from their Pakistani cultural heritage giving it their own unique and modern twist be it in Prêt, Couture or Wedding wear. In 2008, Kamiar Rokni was nominated for a lux style award in the ‘Best Pret Wear’ category.
