Ayesha Takia was born is Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her birthday or date of birth is 0n April 10th 1986. Her height is 5’5 and her weight is 52-55 Kgs. Her star is Aries. Her father Nishit is a Gujrathi while her mother Faridah is an Anglo-Indian Muslim. She has a younger sister called Natasha.

Ayesha started her career with the “I am a Complan Girl!” advertising campaign and she also appeared in a music video, Falguni Pathak’s Meri Chunarii Udd Udd Jaye, when she was fifteen.
Ayesha had never let her lack of speaking Hindi fluently come in her way. A go-getter, she is no stranger to the silver screen and has faced cameras even at the tender age of 4. Her continuity was what got her noticed and the makers of ‘Socha Na Tha’ approached her in 2004 to play the lead role opposite Dharmendra’s nephew Abhay Deol which she accepted.
She signed a contract for Socha Na Tha. However, there were delays in making Socha Na Tha so the movie Taarzan released first and was therefore her “debut” film. She won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004 for her performance in Taarzan: The Wonder Car.
With ‘Tarzaan The Wonder Car’ Ayesha quickly made her mark in Bollywood and not only was noticed but also received an Award – The Best Filmfare Debut.
Thereafter her films have done poorly at the Box Office, although she scored highly with teenaged audience in India and abroad, especially with her performance in ‘Dil Maange More’ and ‘Shaadi No. 1’.
She also appeared in a 2006 Telegu movie named ‘Robbery’, which was later dubbed into Hindi and released as ‘Super’.
Ayesha’s latest release was Wanted costarring Salman Khan emerged as the one of the biggest blockbusters of 2009.
On 1 March 2009, Ayesha married Farhan Azmi, a restaurateur and the son of politician Abu Azmi, a Samajwadi Party leader. The couple had originally planned to marry in December 2008.
