Minissha Lamba Bollywood Actress Biography

{SCA} Minissha Lamba ia a beautiful, bold and hot actress in Indian Cinema. Petite and adorable, Minissha Lamba bagged several modeling ops before gravitating towards cinema.

Minnisha was born in a New Delhi-based Punjabi speaking Sikh family. Her birthday or date of birth  is on 18 January 1985. Now her age is round about 25 years and her nickname is Minissha. Her Weight is 48 kgs and her height is 5 feet 2 inches.

Minissha was born to a -Jat  family of Lamba Jat clan hailing from Haryana. Growing up, her father was in the hospitality business and this gave Lamba the opportunity to travel around the country and meet many people. She can converse in Hindi, Punjabi, English and French fluently.

Clearly her intent was to complete her education, concentrate on an academic career and do some modeling on the side. She was successful in completing her education from University of Delhi and majored in English with Honors in 2004.

She has the beauty and talents that is needed to become an actress. During her effort in modeling, she was offered to represent ad campaigns like LG, Sony, Cadbury, Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk etc. But it was the ad shoot for Cadboury that turned out to be lucky for her. She was approached by Bollywood Director, Shoojit Sircar, and signed her to act in his film Yahaan (2005). This was an unexpected offer and she heartedly accepted it and move on to acting. So she debuted in Bollywood with Yahaan.

Critics praised the movie citing Lamba’s performance as one of the highlights. In 2008, she acted in Siddharth Anand’s film Bachna Ae Haseeno which stars Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone along with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. This movie is produced by Yashraj Films. She will be soon featuring in a Shyam Benegal film to be released by mid September.
