Ingredients:

1. 2 slices dry bread
2. 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
3. 2 eggs
4. 2 tablespoons cooking oil
5. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
6. 1 teaspoon baking soda
7. 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method:

1. Break dry bread slices into blender container; cover and blend till coarsely crumbled.
2. Add remaining ingredients to bread in blender container.
3. Cover; blend just to combine.
4. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto hot, lightly greased grid dle.
5. Bake.(Small cakes are easier to turn.)
