Tariq Amin is a Pakistani hairdresser, celebrity wardrobe stylist, hair stylist and media personality. Amin graduated with a business degree from the College of Boca Raton, Florida in 1983. His work has also been shown in Vogue Magazine. He has done the makeup for music videos by Ali Azmat and Abbas Ali Khan among others, as well as appeared in the video for “Channo” by Ali Zafar and the music video for “Incredible” by Adil Omar.
In 1990 he won the first Sunsilk Hairdressing Award the first of many rewarding associations with Pakistan’s leading hair care brand. And in recent years from 2007, Tariq Amin has endorsed Sunsilk in one of its most successful campaigns, giving his 25 year career its crowning glory. Tariq Amin has been part of the Pakistani fashion industry for the past 25 years. He has been the hair expert and styled fashion glitterati in Karachi and across Pakistan.
He currently runs 3 salons in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi and is very deeply involved with the fashion and music industries in Pakistan. He has worked with the best designers and musicians in the country. He also has a lot of experience working on shows internationally.
