There are actually several different places on the body that are called the shoulder in everyday usage. Some people consider the shoulder to be part of the arm, the rounded portion just above the upper arm. For some, these tattoos would more properly be called arm tattoos. Others see the shoulder as part of the back.

This is possibly the most intricate tattoo I have ever seen. There are so many colors in it including blue, pink, yellow, orange, purple, red, green, and gold. The bottom half of the portrait is a set of blue boxes bordered by gold flames and yellow tinted eyes. The middle of the portrait is a set of pink boxes also boarded by gold.
